How many times may I use the LetterEffects images once I purchase a CD?

By purchasing a LetterEffects CD, you have a royalty-free license to use the images on that CD multiple times and on multiple projects. However, usage must be in compliance with the End User License Agreement.

Can I modify an image on any LetterEffects CD to make a derivative work?

Yes! We encourage creative design using the LetterEffects images. You may modify the images themselves or use the images to compliment your original design. Our LetterEffects are meant to inspire creativity and unique design.

Can I claim a copyright my modified image or derivative work?

As a rule of thumb, if the modified image contains less than 50% of a LetterEffects image(s) you may copyright your derivative design. However, please keep in mind that since we allow royalty-free licensing, it would be possible for someone to unknowingly recreate a similar design to yours. Twin Graphics / LetterEffects retains all rights to our original images on the LetterEffects CDs.

Can I place the LetterEffects images on my website?

Yes, you may use any image from a CD you have purchased on your own website or a client's website. However, the image(s) must be used as a design element and not as unmodified individual images that can be downloaded or copied illegally from the website.

What are the usage restrictions for LetterEffects image CDs?

You may NOT: (1) Use our images to compete with us. While you may incorporate our images, you may not sell, loan, or rent the images. (2) Use any image in a illegal, unlawful or pornographic manner. (3) Sell, loan, rent, or give your CD or any image to a third party to assist them in avoiding to pay for the rightful use of the CD or image.

Can I share my CD with a friend or co-worker?

You may NOT: Sell, loan, rent, or give your CD or any image to a third party to assist them in avoiding to pay for the rightful use of the CD or image.

Will you share my e-mail address or any other personal information with anyone else?

We will never share your e-mail address or give/sell any of your personal information to a third party. We respect your right to privacy and only use your information to process your order. Our opt-in product promotion e-mail messages are strictly optional and can be canceled at any time upon request. All comments posted in the Letter Cafe are given freely and used by permission.

Can I get the Volume Discount Pricing if I don't order the CDs I want at the same time?

Unfortunately, we can only offer Volume Discount Pricing on items purchased within the same order.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is always free when you purchase two or more CDs. When purchasing one CD, a $3.95 shipping charge will apply.
